Europa is one of Jupiter’s most famous moons and just the other day in science they have announced the presence of water on Europa. The advancements that this means for Human life and mankind are significant. This opens up a lot of questions. And a lot of possibilities that many powers that be are not ready to explore yet and want to stop this exploration from happening. But the mere fact of this proof shows that there is so much life just brimming out there in the Universe. You cannot look at such sights like this and deny that we are one part of a beautiful symphony of events all taking place simultaneously around the Universe at the same time.

This series, the moons of Jupiter, or Jupiter Queens as I have named them are almost the same as the Galilean moons. These moons came to me in a dream. I was shown them and I was shown to paint the three of them while I was suspended in air, above Jupiter herself. My guides were showing me to paint these three moons in particular and they were shown to me all in the same etherial white iridescent light. I woke up and I had the names on the tip of my tongue, I looked them up and to my surprise they all belonged to Jupiter. Indeed it was meant to be.

I created a new technique and style to be a part of my planets and moons series. I wanted the planets to all have a glossy feel to them as planets do, very much like a marbled surface. And I wanted the moons to be built up and carved out of stone because moons are very craterous and rocky and jagged. Because that is what moons are like, so that is what I have done here.

These moons are a 3D representation of the way they have been shown to me in the Astral Plane.
