As she gazes into the universe painting she created, she realizes they’re one and the same. The light rays radiating from that distant nebula are one with the rays of light in her being. Boundaries of self dissolve. Her naked vulnerability is what is needed to glimpse self. The painting within a painting is also one of mine, titled Incomprehensible, and lives at this retreat, Seido-En, on Salt Spring Island.
